WS299: Dave Rice: Supporting Real Estate Investors On The Back End With Bookkeeping

As they say, the devil is in the details. When we put it in terms of the real estate world, many investors know that the details of the deals often escape them. Dave Rice, the owner of REI Bookkeepers, saw a need for knowledgeable professionals in the bookkeeping niche in real estate investing. In this episode, host Whitney Sewell sat down with Dave to go deeper into this less talked about topic, shedding light on the importance of keeping track of the financial affairs so business owners can focus on profit and growth. Dave tells us how they do things at his company, what they offer to those in the syndication business, and why they are a great company to outsource bookkeeping tasks to. Dave also shares how you can spot a qualified bookkeeper and how you can make sure your books are organized and prepared yourself.

Today Dave talks about the software they use to manage clients’ books and keep all the parties informed and updated, what we can do to organize our books and start off on the right foot even before acquiring professional services, what you can expect your bookkeeper to do for you and what your role in the process will be, so stay tuned!
