“A very powerful thing with syndicating is it’s more of a team sport. Everybody has a role to play on the team.” – Anthony Metzger
“What I did is I looked at my other options as an entrepreneur and said, “You know, this is tough, but what else am I going to do? I’m not going to quit, if I’m going to not do this, I will go try something else.” But at the time, this still made sense. This isn’t going out and inventing the next wheel. This is a proven system that if, over time, you’re consistent at it and you work towards it, eventually, it seems like, it feels like, you will land one.” – Anthony Metzger
“Deals are different for everybody, everybody underwrites them differently.” – Anthony Metzger
“I really knew that I needed a change. I need to be able to own my direction and my time because for my whole career, I have knocked it out of the park for other people, for other agencies, for companies, and you know, and teams. And it just…it was time to make that choice for myself.” – Josi Heron
“I knew that I wanted to scale. I wanted to use real estate as my next step, as my next jump.” – Josi Heron
About Anthony Metzger
Anthony was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. At the age of 18, he flew to France and lived there for a year to study and work as a sommelier. All throughout his twenties, he traveled the world making wine, studying wine, and filming wine documentaries. In fact, if you go to YouTube, you’ll find his film, ‘South Africa Wine Documentary – The Pink Grape’. At the age of 28, while sitting on the couch, his younger brother approached him and asked if he had ever heard of Michael Blank. His reply was no. He signed up for Michael’s Ultimate Guide Program and started listening to his podcasts. Once he got educated, he immediately began looking for deals and underwriting them. After a year and a half, a deal came across his desk, he underwrote it, and it worked. He submitted it to the deal desk and it got accepted. A few months after that, they closed on the deal. 218 units were his first deal. Since then, he has closed on his second deal and grown his network.
