About Shawn DiMartile:

Shawn DiMartile, the co-founder of Takeoff Capital, embarked on his real estate investment journey by liquidating his 401k to partner on a 32-unit property in Indiana. Within two years, he tripled its value and sold it for a significant profit. In 2021, he syndicated a 150-unit multifamily property, followed by a 145-unit property just two months later. Despite always wanting to invest in San Diego, low cap rates and stringent landlord-tenant laws initially made it challenging to generate substantial returns from value-add multifamily properties. However, this changed two years ago when San Diego introduced their bonus Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) program, enabling investors to build apartments on single-family lots. Consequently, Martell quit his full-time job as an air traffic controller and is now a full-time multifamily investor with over 300 units, a boutique hotel, and several Airbnbs under his belt.

About Stas Grinberg:

Stas Grinberg, co-founder and managing principal of Vision & Beyond, started his business with Peter Gizunterman from a Starbucks. They’ve since expanded into five profitable companies with three corporate offices in Ohio, New York, and Israel, employing nearly 60 people and attracting investors worldwide. Prior to this, Stas worked for two Israeli investment firms, financing new construction opportunities in Birmingham, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; and Los Angeles, California. The firm now manages 3k multifamily units and $250m AUM in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Texas. Guided by his personal business motto to be bold and original, Stas, an IDF officer in the Armored Corps in the Army Reserve, has also been honored with the Israeli President’s Outstanding Soldier badge.
